Digging must ensure the necessary space for the manhole in both vertical & horizontal directions. According to the terrain type the hole can be digged with vertical walls or inclined embankment.

The tank must be placed on a compacted sand layer of minimum 10 cm. After connecting the drainage network pipes proceed with the fill up of the hole. Filling is realized with sand layers of maximum 15 cm all around the manhole body, each layer compacted separately.

Minimum compacting grade must be 85%. In green environment the sand layer upon the manhole can be 80% compacted.

The frame of the fastening lid will be sustained by a 20 cm thick reinforced concrete plate with dimensions of 1,70 X 1,70 m. After completely fixing the manhole place the joint ring into the special socket from the opening of the manhole. The height can be adjusted by passing the leveling element through the joint ring.

In case of mounting under pavement or road the minimum compacting grades shown in table must be respected.
